Trust, Transparency, and Compliance
At Servinux, we believe that secure payments are built on a foundation of trust. These policies outline our commitment to protecting your business, your data, and your customers within the Nigerian financial technology landscape.
1. Merchant Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 1, 2025These Terms govern your relationship with Servinux’s technical payment infrastructure, including our checkout orchestration, automated webhooks, and reporting tools. By creating an account, you partner with us to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient processing environment in Nigeria.
1.1 Safeguarding Your Merchant Account
You are the primary guardian of your account security. While we provide advanced encryption, you are responsible for keeping your Secret Keys and passwords confidential. Servinux will never ask for your credentials. If you suspect any unauthorized activity, notify our security team immediately.
1.2 Transparent Processing Fees
Servinux operates with a philosophy of "no hidden costs." Technical processing fees are clearly detailed on our pricing page and are automatically reconciled before your final settlement. We commit to providing at least 30 days' notice for any structural changes to our fee schedule.
1.3 Responsible and Lawful Use
Our infrastructure is built to empower legitimate commerce. Use of Servinux for prohibited activities—including fraudulent schemes, illegal goods, or any activity violating established Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines—will result in immediate suspension and reporting to the relevant authorities.
2. Privacy & Data Protection (NDPR)
Last Updated: October 1, 2025Your data privacy is not just a policy; it is a right. Servinux strictly adheres to the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) to ensure that merchant and customer information is handled with the highest level of care and security.
2.1 What We Collect & Why
We only collect data necessary to facilitate payments and keep your business safe:
- Merchant Identity: Information required for KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) verification via our licensed partners.
- Transaction Integrity: Tokenized card data and transaction metadata required for secure transmission.
- Fraud Prevention: IP addresses and behavioral data used by our AI guard to identify and block suspicious patterns.
2.2 Data Sovereignty
We do not sell your personal or business data to third parties. Data is shared only with authorized licensed financial partners and regulators as required to complete your transactions and maintain legal compliance within the local financial ecosystem.
3. Security Standards & Disputes
